Material Study 1: Concrete

The site intervention of this project created the library addition as a wrapping continuation of Eames House retaining wall. This project deals with folding iterations, geometric casting experimentation, and solid void relationships that are created by intersecting folding ribbons. The use of folding techniques allows for a controlled manner in which the “ribbon” could be manipulated in both direction and form.
